A guide to keeping your hand and nails in good condition using the Hand & Nail Manicure System.
Step 1 - Cleanse and remove polish
Moisten cotton with nail polish remover and press over nail until it softens and removes any polish. Sanitize hands with Natural look Hand & Nail Softening Soak, rinse and dry.
Step 2 - Shaping Nails
File and shape the nails using an emery board or grinder of your choice. File nails with the direction of nail growth to avoid nail splitting.
Step 3 - A relaxing soak
The next step is to add a capful of Natural Look Hand & Nail Softening Soak to a bowl of warm water. Stir the water to produce a soft foam. Soak hand and nails for 5 -10 minutes. Relax while the solution thoroughly cleanses and softens the skin and nails.
Step 4 - Deep Cleansing
After the hand and nails have been soaked well, dry them thoroughly. You can now remove any dry skin by gently massaging Natural Look Hand & Body Exfoliating Gel onto the entire hand and arm, working any rough areas, such as the elbows or knuckles.
Step 5 - Mask
Apply Natural Look Moisture Mask with a generous layer, completely covering the skin, from fingertips to the wrist and leave for 10 minutes. Rinse well with warm water.
Step 6 - Cuticle removal
Apply a thin layer of Natural Look Eraser around the edge
of each nail. Wait 30 seconds and remove with a cotton swab. Loosen the cuticle gently and remove if necessary using cuticle clippers. Rinse hands with warm water. Apply Natural Look Cuticle Therapy Cream to the base of each nail. Gently massage into cuticles to help nourish and promote strong healthy nail growth.
Step 7 - Massage
Apply Natural Look Hand & Nail Moisture generously and with long sweeping motion and firm pressure, massage into the hand and arm (see massage techniques [link]).
Step 8 - Apply nail polish
Wipe the nails with a tissue to remove any traces of the massage lotion, then apply Natural Look Nourish to strengthen and nourish the nail bed or simply apply your favourite nail colour to really show off your fresh manicured look.

1 Hand and Arm Massage
Start by placing your thumbs, one above the other, at the base of the fingers. Move upwards in circular movements with the cushions of your thumbs. Using a continuous action, move slowly towards the elbow, sliding back hands firmly down to the base of fingers. Repeat 3 or 4 times.

2 Wrist Twisting
Grip the wrist with both hands in opposite direction, one above the other. Move hands firmly back and forth around the wrist in opposite directions. Repeat several times on both hands.

3 Hand Relaxation
Starting at the base of the little finger, rotate with small movements continually upward along the bone from the knuckles to the wrist. Maintain contact and slide back down to the next finger, continuing to the thumb.

4 Elbow Circles
Hold right hands together and rest elbow in opposite hand. Whilst firmly gripping hands, rotate the elbow without any discomfort as far as possible. Repeat several times with both arms.

5 Wrist Circles
Holding the hand the same as the previous technique, only holding the lower arm with the opposite hand. Rotate the wrist one way several times, and then in the opposite direction, repeat several times with both hands.

6 Finger Circles
Holding the wrist in your opposite hand, hold the fingers, one at a time, at the tip and rotate 6-7 times. Rotate all fingers 2-3 times each.

7 Finger Massage
Starting at the base of the thumb, rotate with firm movements slowly towards the finger tip end. Repeat the same movement on each finger 3 or 4 times.
