Manicure and Pedicure Paraffin Tips
- Perform normal manicure/pedicure routine and stop prior to massage and nail polish.

- In a relaxed position, dip hand/foot up to the wrist/ankle. Withdraw and repeat with at least 3 coats, taking care not to break the paraffin seal. (It is recommended that separate units be used for hands and feet treatments.)
- Wrap coated hand/foot in plastic film. Place in terrycloth booties or mitts. Rest comfortably for ten minutes.
- Remove towel and gently massage through the plastic to free paraffin coat. Work off in one piece and discard with plastic.
- Perform massage as usual.
- If nail polish is desired, you will need to wipe nails dry using polish remover.

Paraffin Wax Treatment Hints And Tips
- Paraffin is ideal for chronic joint pain, to increase circulation, relax muscles and deep skin conditioning.
- Up to 10 to 15 layers of paraffin can be applied (except facial) to increase the benefit of the treatment and to keep the heat in for longer.
- Further enhanced treatment by the use of mitts for manicures and booties for pedicures (or some type of wrap for other areas). This will increase circulation and the absorption of additional moisture therefore emphasizing the paraffin’s softening effects.
- The use of an exfoliating scrub is recommended before commencing treatment.
- Wash and dry the area thoroughly and always prepare the skin area with Natural look Epidermal Prep and Vitamin E Dermal Moisturiser.
- Do not use on sunburn, burns, broken or inflamed skin.
